This controller is compatible with a variety of battery types, including lead-acid, gel, AGM and LiFePO4, making it a versatile choice for a variety of applications. With its compact and lightweight design, the Votronic MPPT Duo Dig is easy to install and integrate into existing systems.

Advantages of the Votronic MPPT Duo Dig solar controller

One of the main advantages of this controller is the ability to charge two batteries simultaneously. The main battery receives the full charging current, while the second battery is supported with a current of up to 1 A, which is ideal for maintaining the vehicle’s starter battery.

Additional features and protections

The Votronic MPPT Duo Dig features multiple protections, including overload, overheating and reverse polarity protection, ensuring safe and reliable operation. The device is equipped with LED indicators for easy monitoring of charging status and system operation.

MPPT series

VOTRONIC solar controllers with MPP technology are the elite class of solar charge controllers. The microprocessor uses the maximum power point (MPP) of the solar module and determines the maximum yield of the solar system several times per second. The excess voltage is transformed into a higher charging current for the battery. This excess charging current ensures shorter charging times and the best possible energy yield from the solar system. High-quality components ensure that losses are reduced to a minimum.

Unlike conventional controllers, the charging current of the VOTRONIC MPP is increased by approximately 10 to 30%. This advantage has an impact especially in cooler times of the year, in cooler holiday areas or with higher voltage solar modules. Higher voltage PV modules combined with the MPPT controller generate maximum efficiency from the smallest area. The device is adapted to a VOTRONIC modular system and can simply be connected to the solar controller thanks to the plug-and-play design.
