Huawei Smart PV Optimiser SUN2000-450W-P

The SUN2000P is a DC-DC converter that is placed as an additional device on the back of the photovoltaic modules in a solar system. Its role is to track the maximum power point (MPP) of each module in this system to improve its energy yield. The converter performs the functions of module-level shutdown, module-level monitoring, automatic positioning, IV-curve diagnostics and fault bypass. For example, in case of shading of the PV panel on which the device is mounted, it allows the system to bypass/isolate the given module so that all other modules in the given string continue to produce electricity.

The input of the SUN2000P connects to the PV module. Through a DC/DC circuit, the PV input voltage is converted to the required voltage and the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) function is performed. The communication circuit is used for communication, and the exit circuit allows the SUN2000P to bypass itself due to an error.
