Victron BMV-700 Battery Monitor
The BMV-700 is a high precision battery monitor. The main function of the battery monitor is to calculate the amp hours consumed and the state of charge of the battery. The consumed amperes are calculated by constantly monitoring the current entering or leaving the battery. The remaining capacity of the battery depends on the ampere-hours consumed, discharge current, temperature and age of the battery. Complex software algorithms are required to take all these variables into account.
In addition to basic display options such as voltage, current, and amp hours, the BMV-700 series also displays state of charge, remaining time, and power consumption in watts (W). Use Bluetooth Smart to monitor your batteries on Apple or Android smartphones, tablets, macbooks and other devices.
