Return of goods
You can return any purchase within 14 days without giving a reason (see 14-day cancellation period). Usually after 14 days you can only request a full or partial refund of the amount paid,if the product cannot be repaired or replaced. Please note that you may not be eligible for a refund if the problem is minor — such as a scratch on a product box.
Additional protection
Stores or manufacturers can offer you additional commercial warranty (also known as „warranty“). This may give you better protection, butcan never replace or reduce the minimum two-year warranty. The terms should be clearly defined in the commercial guarantee and, if they are less favorable than the terms announced by the seller, the more favorable ones shall apply.
If you buy a product or service online, you have the right to return it within 14 days from the date of delivery, without stating a reason. In the case of a contract for services, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day of conclusion of the contract. If this term expires on a non-working day, it is extended to the next working day. That’s what it’s called right of refusal.
Exceptions
Note: The 14-day cancellation period does not apply to
- goods made to order or clearly personalized
- audio recordings, video recordings or computer software
- online digital content if the download or streaming has already started and you have agreed that you lose your right to opt out once this process has started.
- contracts for urgent repair or maintenance activities
Repair, replacement or refund
The two-year warranty period begins from the moment of receiving the goods. If a defect is found within 1 year of delivery,you do not need to prove that it existed at the time of delivery. This is assumed to be the case unless the seller can prove otherwise. You can ask the seller to repair or replace the product, reduce the price or give you a refund if the repair or replacement is not possible.
